Mohr Ceramic Vase and Bowl Set by Mohr, Germany 1960s. Decorative ceramic vase and bowl set attributed to Mohr, marked Mohr Gesch. Handarbeit 27/20. The pieces feature a ribbed texture inspired by woven wicker, with fine, flowing lines that give a lively surface effect. Executed in warm mustard yellow and brown tones typical of 1960s design. Both items are crafted from ceramic and presented in very good vintage condition. An atmospheric and cohesive mid-century set. The seating comfort is great and the chair is overall in a good preserved vintage condition, with some wear consistent its age and use and a very small repair on the seating. This very comfortable mid-century ‘Rock’ style sofa is attributed to Gerard van de Berg for Montis. The seating part with two headrest leather cushions is placed in a fancy cane frame. The patchwork leather shows a very nice patine. However one of the leather parts (on the front) has been professionally renewed, the sofa is in a well preserved condition with some wear consistent its age and use. The origin of this authentic 2-seater is Dutch and is manufactured in the 1970s. The sofa with its Bohemian look fits perfectly in an eclectic setting. Constructed with a black-stained oak frame and thick dark brown leather cushions, combined with canvas seating and a chromed adjustable backrest. The backrest allows multiple seating positions through adjustable height and depth, offering both comfort and versatility. Distinctive details include visible construction elements, sculptural proportions, and a head cushion with characteristic leather buckles. A strong example of Dutch brutalism. It reflects Wasseur’s distinct expression of bold, geometric form and craftsmanship.
