Kavel 305-003-FL006-S3: Italian Golden Palm Tree Floor Lamp with Three Sparkling Branches
Highly decorative and rare golden palm tree floor lamp. This
authentic tall lighting object features three brass branches each
of them carrying a sparkling bunch of brass palm leaves with a
lightbulb in the middle. Each leaf features a string with
transparant shiny beads. It’s a piece of art on itself that
enriches and lightens up in almost any setting, providing you have
room! Whether on or off, this is an absolutely stunning large
Italian palm tree floor lamp from the 1970’s.
The floor lamp is in a lovely condition as the photos show, with
some minor wear on a few spots according its age. There are four
bulbs in total (one on each stem and one on the lamp base). It is

engineered bar interior beneath its sliding top. When opened, the
table reveals multiple purpose built compartments designed to
accomodate bottles, glassware and bar accessories, transforming the
piece from an elegant coffee table into a fully functional bar
unit.
The refined sliding mechanism allows the table to extend from
approximately 125 cm to 188 cm in length, while maintaining visual
balance and architectural clarity. Distinguished by superior
joinery, carefully matched wood grain and exceptional
craftsmanship, this rare table exemplifies the sophisticated
functional design and cabinetmaking excellence characteristic of

This unknown but highly interesting design combines influences reminiscent of Ingmar Relling’s use of leather and canvas with the sculptural bentwood approach associated with Alvar Aalto.
