When selling at an auction, the question quickly arises of what the expected proceeds will be. At PlaatsJeBod you can have your industrial assets valued by a certified appraiser in the most diverse sectors. These valuations are performed on the basis of the desired officially valid valuation principles. Depending on the situation, we supply one or more reports with different valuation principles for proper decisions. PlaatsJeBod is a nationally operating company so we can carry out valuations throughout the Netherlands. Right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is a statutory cooling-off period for online purchases. Only consumers can claim the right of withdrawal. Business customers are not entitled to this right. This means that you cannot cancel a business bid and cannot return lots purchased for business purposes. In addition, the right of withdrawal does not apply to public auctions, foreclosure auctions, and bankruptcy auctions. Plaats je Bod works in principle only for trustees, bailiffs, banks, etc. As a result, most of the auctions on our website are not covered by the statutory right of withdrawal.

Wwft

Auction houses are required by the Wwft (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Act) to assess, record, and keep up to date their own risks of money laundering and terrorist financing. The supervisory authority assesses whether Plaats Je Bod adequately identifies the risks of money laundering and terrorist financing and whether the policies and procedures to manage these risks are adequately designed. Customers of Plaats Je Bod who make purchases via the auction site should be aware of this law. The Wwft risk matrix may require Plaats Je Bod to carry out additional identity checks and/or ask our customers additional questions regarding payments and the origin of these payments. If this assessment indicates that money laundering may be involved, the transaction must be reported to the FIU-Netherlands.

Collection

Collection of goods is entirely at the expense and risk of the buyer. The buyer is responsible for providing the appropriate means of transport and tools for dismantling. Your auction purchases will therefore NOT be delivered to you by Plaats Je Bod! Collection is possible on the predetermined and scheduled date stated in the relevant auction information. The buyer is free to engage a specialized transport/disassembly company to collect their goods. At Plaats Je Bod, we have had good experiences with Auction Logistics.
