Item information
Description
This striking vintage design shag rug was produced by BAJONG, a well-known Dutch rug manufacturer, and dates to the 1970s. Characterized by its deep, long pile and rich layered green palette, the rug features an abstract, almost camouflage-like pattern reminiscent of forest and army tones typical of the era. The rug is composed of two original BAJONG rugs (each approx. 130 × 185 cm) that were professionally joined, resulting in one generous and visually cohesive piece measuring approximately 185 × 260 cm. The seams are subtle and do not detract from the overall appearance or use. Made in the Netherlands, this rug perfectly reflects 1970s interior design trends, combining bold texture with earthy, organic coloration. It offers both strong visual impact and a soft, tactile surface, ideal for a living room, lounge, or statement interior. The carpet has been professionally cleaned and is in good vintage condition. Dimensions: 185 x 260 cm
