Description
Rare armchair model F297 designed by Theo Ruth for Artifort in 1949. This sculptural chair features a solid oak frame with block-turned legs and arms, a rattan seat, and a natural leather backrest secured with brass nails. The carved armrests show subtle baroque influences, while the overall design balances modernism with rustic and brutalist characteristics. The oak displays a beautiful grain structure, and the leather has developed a deep, authentic patina. A highly collectible Dutch design classic in excellent original condition. Dimensions: Height 84 Width 68 Depth 53 cm.
