Description
This elegant mid-century table lamp dates from the 1960s and is most likely of Scandinavian origin. The design combines a turned wooden base with a slender frosted glass tube, evoking the silhouette of a traditional hand-held candlestick reinterpreted as an electric lamp. The result is a warm, graphic and understated object with a strong sense of atmosphere. Beautifully balanced in proportion and material, this lamp works equally well as an accent light or bedside lamp. The lamp is in good vintage condition, as with all vintage items or lighting, this piece may show light signs of use, which add to its authentic character.
