Mid-Century Italian Design Cesare Lacca Walnut Coffee Table with Glass Top, Italy 1950s. Elegant Italian coffee table designed by Cesare Lacca, produced in the early 1960s. Executed in walnut veneer and topped with a clear glass surface, the table displays refined proportions and decorative wooden inlay details typical of Italian mid-century design. The table is in a very well-preserved vintage condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use. A beautifully balanced and sculptural piece. Cesare Lacca (Italy, active 1950s–1960s) was known for his refined side tables, coffee tables and serving trolleys, often combining elegant wooden frames with glass or tray tops. His work is closely associated with Cassina and represents the light, decorative side of Italian mid-century modernism. Dimensions: Height 46,5 Width 96 Depth 46,5 cm.
