Description
This refined French table lamp, dating from the 1960s, is attributed to Adrien Audoux & Frida Minet and exemplifies the designers’ distinctive use of natural materials and elegant proportions. The lamp features a finely crafted brass tripod base supporting a slender wooden stem, fitted with a classic pull-cord switch. The shade is composed of two subtle rings wrapped in paper cord, creating a warm, textured surface that softly diffuses the light and gives the lamp its unmistakable organic character. Both sculptural and understated, the lamp emits a gentle, atmospheric glow and functions beautifully as accent lighting in both modern and mid-century interiors. The combination of brass, wood, and paper cord reflects the refined, handcrafted aesthetic for which Audoux-Minet became internationally renowned. A rare and highly decorative piece of French mid-century design. The lamp is in a very well preserved vintage condition, as with all vintage items or lighting, this piece may show light signs of use, which add to its authentic character.
