Description

Early vintage decorative bobbin (knobbel) armchair, dating from approximately 1920–1940. The chair features a distinctive turned wooden frame composed of rounded, bead-like elements, giving it a strong sculptural presence and a rich, tactile character.

The seat is upholstered in a soft, silky fabric with a subtle floral pattern in muted pastel grey tones, which contrasts beautifully with the dark-stained wood. With its compact proportions and integrated armrests, this chair works perfectly as an accent chair, hall chair, or decorative statement piece.

The chair is in a well preserved vintage condition. The frame is solid and stable, with light wear consistent with age. The upholstery is clean and presentable. As with all vintage seating, minor signs of use may be present and add to its authentic character. Dimensions: Height 71 Width 53 Depth 45 Seating height 34 cm.
