This very comfortable mid-century ‘Rock’ style sofa is attributed to Gerard van de Berg for Montis. The seating part with two headrest leather cushions is placed in a fancy cane frame. The patchwork leather shows a very nice patine. However one of the leather parts (on the front) has been professionally renewed, the sofa is in a well preserved condition with some wear consistent its age and use. The origin of this authentic 2-seater is Dutch and is manufactured in the 1970s. The sofa with its Bohemian look fits perfectly in an eclectic setting. The platter is notable for its monumental size and refined Victorian ornament, reflecting Minton’s high standards in decorative tableware intended for both domestic use and formal presentation. Condition: No visual damage, stable hairline crack, not through; structurally sound with age-related wear. Founded in Stoke-on-Trent, Minton was one of England’s most prestigious porcelain manufacturers. The China Aster pattern belongs to Minton’s late-Victorian production, combining fashionable East Asian–inspired floral design with industrially advanced transfer printing. Vintage Foldable and Mobile Chrome Steel 2 Floral Decorated Layers ‘Dinett’ Serving Trolley by Gerlinol, Germany, 1970s. This elegant and highly functional serving trolley features a chrome-plated tubular steel frame combined with 2 layers of nicely floral decorated laminated surfaces, characteristic of practical German design from the 1970s. This variant is relatively rare.

The trolley is equipped with two foldable side panels, allowing for multiple configurations:

• fully opened on both sides as a generous dinette or serving trolley,

• opened on one side only, making it ideal as a slim side table placed against a wall,

• or fully folded down, transforming into a compact unit that can easily be stored when not in use.

Mounted on original castors, the trolley is fully mobile and can be moved effortlessly, making it particularly suitable for flexible interiors and smaller living spaces. When folded, it occupies minimal space while retaining its sculptural, modernist appearance.

A versatile and clever design object that works equally well as a serving trolley, bar cart, breakfast table, side table or occasional workspace. This ingenious telescopic lamp, often referred to as a Lampette, was produced by Eichhoff Werke in Germany during the late 1960s to early 1970s. Designed as a highly functional and portable light, the lamp features a telescopic metal arm that can be smoothly extended or retracted, allowing for adjustment in both height and reach. The adjustable lamp head can be rotated, making the lamp suitable for use as a desk lamp or, alternatively, as a small hanging light. When folded, the lamp becomes compact and easy to transport, originally conceived as a travel or multi-purpose lamp. Finished in black with a combination of metal and hard plastic elements, the design has a distinctly technical and minimalist character, reflecting the functionalist approach of German design from this period. The sofa is branded with a stamp of C&B Italia on the bottom. This exceptional brutalist pendant lamp, model 6407, was designed by Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen for Holm Sørensen, Denmark, during the 1960s. The lamp is crafted entirely from brass and features a highly expressive, sculptural form. The shade consists of layered cylindrical elements with irregular, organically burned edges, achieved through a process of cutting and welding the metal. The raw, flame-like contours reveal warm copper tones beneath the brass surface, creating a dramatic contrast and emphasizing the lamp’s handcrafted, brutalist character. When illuminated, the lamp produces a rich, atmospheric glow, with light reflecting off the textured metal and glowing subtly through the cut edges. The result is a powerful yet intimate lighting effect, making the piece both a functional light source and a striking sculptural object. This model exemplifies Holm-Sørensen’s experimental approach to materials and form, and stands as a strong example of mid-century Scandinavian brutalism.
