This striking wall sconce was produced by Sölken Leuchten in Germany during the 1960s and exemplifies the solid craftsmanship and sculptural approach characteristic of mid-century German lighting. The sconce is constructed from heavy brass and consists of three cylindrical brass tubes mounted on a thick, circular backplate. Each tube is fitted with inset bulbs at both ends, creating a balanced and architectural lighting effect. The clean geometry and strong material presence give the lamp a distinctly brutalist yet elegant character. When illuminated, the light is emitted both upwards and downwards, producing a warm, atmospheric glow that enhances walls and architectural surfaces. Thanks to its compact proportions and substantial weight, the lamp functions equally well as a decorative accent or as a statement wall light. A high-quality and timeless design. The wall sconce is in a very well preserved vintage condition. As with all vintage pieces, they may show light signs of use, which add to their authentic character.
