Striking vintage oval wall mirror featuring a thick sculptural frame of textured sugar glass, internally illuminated to create a warm, atmospheric halo of light around the mirror surface. The deeply cast glass displays an organic, crystalline relief pattern, characteristic of high-quality European decorative glass from the mid-20th century. When illuminated, the translucent glass emits a soft amber glow, dramatically enhancing the sculptural depth of the frame while remaining elegant and restrained. The oval mirror plate sits flush within the glass surround, creating a refined contrast between the smooth reflective surface and the rugged, almost ice-like texture of the frame. This type of illuminated mirror reflects the golden era of mid-century interior design, where lighting, glass, and sculptural form were merged into functional art objects.
