Domus is internationally regarded as one of the most influential monthly reviews of architecture, interior design, and art, and has played a key role in shaping modern architectural and design discourse. Domus was founded in 1928 by the architect Gio Ponti, together with publisher Gianni Mazzocchi — two leading figures in Italian architecture and publishing whose collaboration helped establish Domus as a leading voice in 20th-century design. Issues from the 1970s reflect a period of architectural experimentation and cultural transition. Each issue is documented with individual cover photography and interior spread images, providing a clear and transparent visual overview of the condition and content of the magazines. Offered as a cohesive set, these original vintage issues are no longer in print and are highly sought after by collectors, architects, designers, and scholars. Together, they form a valuable reference archive capturing the spirit of late 20th-century European and international design culture.
