Bieden op dit kavel is geëindigd

This decorative ceramic wall tile is a classic example of mid-century Ruscha wall design, combining tactile relief with bold glaze contrasts that are instantly recognisable to collectors of West German pottery. The composition centres on a raised abstract floral / cellular motif, built from rounded, bubble-like forms in high-gloss orange and amber enamel. These glossy elements sit in strong contrast against a matte, earth-toned background in mottled brown, beige, and olive hues—creating depth, shadow, and a rich volcanic surface effect reminiscent of Fat Lava aesthetics, though executed here with more precision and gloss. The tile’s relief is pronounced, giving it a sculptural presence despite its compact size. At approximately 3 cm thick, it projects confidently from the wall and works equally well as a standalone accent or as part of a grouped wall installation. The piece is in a very well preserved condition. This piece sits firmly within Ruscha’s decorative wall tile production, valued for its expressive glaze chemistry, strong colour contrast, and architectural relief. The vivid orange enamel—warm, saturated, and reflective—elevates the tile above more subdued examples and makes it especially attractive for collectors and interior designers alike. Dimensions: Height 24 Width 18 Depth 3 cm.

Vintage Foldable and Mobile Chrome Steel ‘Dinett’ Serving Trolley with 2 White Layers by Gerlinol, Germany, 1970s. This elegant and highly functional serving trolley features a chrome-plated tubular steel frame combined with 2 layers of white laminated surfaces, characteristic of practical German design from the 1970s. This variant is relatively rare.

The trolley is equipped with two foldable side panels, allowing for multiple configurations:

• or fully folded down, transforming into a compact unit that can easily be stored when not in use.

Mounted on original castors, the trolley is fully mobile and can be moved effortlessly, making it particularly suitable for flexible interiors and smaller living spaces. When folded, it occupies minimal space while retaining its sculptural, modernist appearance.

A versatile and clever design object that works equally well as a serving trolley, bar cart, breakfast table, side table or occasional workspace.

Kavel 311-078-207-WL-B3: Early Electric Minimalist Wall Lamp with Frosted Glass Shade – Netherlands, c. 1930s–1940s

Preview image

Bieden op dit kavel is geëindigd

A rare and highly restrained early electric wall lamp, dating to the early decades of domestic electrification. Due to its early date, fragile construction and transitional character, this lamp should be regarded as a true collector’s piece rather than a purely functional object. The design is striking in its functional minimalism: a black metal wall construction with delicate linear arms, paired with a softly diffusing frosted glass shade. The visible fabric-covered power cord and simple mounting clearly point to an early production period, when electric lighting was still transitioning from gas and oil. The composition is almost graphic in character and strongly anticipates later Dutch modernist design, with affinities to early utilitarian makers such as Tomado, though no definitive attribution can be made. This piece feels closer to an object of industrial history than mere decoration. A quiet, honest example of early modern lighting design. The lamp has been tested and is in working condition. As with all vintage items or lighting, this piece may show light signs of use, which add to its authentic character. Dimensions: Height: 29 cm, Width: 17 cm, Depth: 11 cm
