An impressive and rare large-scale studio pottery vase by Armogres (Bouffi), featuring a striking hand-decorated penguin motif rendered in rich, earthy tones. The vase is exceptionally tall at 43 cm, with a generous, rounded body that gives it a strong sculptural presence.

The surface is finished in layered ochre, amber, brown and deep black glazes, creating a tactile, almost volcanic texture typical of high-quality French studio ceramics of the period. Two stylised penguins are depicted in relief-like form, their silhouettes emerging organically from the glaze, giving the piece both narrative charm and strong graphic impact.

This vase is entirely handmade, with visible artisanal character and subtle glaze variations that enhance its uniqueness. The thickly potted form and balanced proportions reflect the confident, expressive approach associated with Armogres production, which is highly regarded and increasingly sought after by collectors of European studio pottery.

The vase is in an excellent preserved condition with expected signs of age and firing-related glaze nuances consistent with hand-crafted ceramics. No structural damage observed. Due to its size, subject matter and decorative strength, this vase stands out as a statement piece suitable for both collectors and interior-focused display. Dimensions: Height 43 Diameters: Top 17 Opening 12 Belly 26 cm.

Set of 2 original vintage issues of Domus Magazine, dating from 1984. This bundle includes the following issue numbers: 648 and 653. Domus is internationally regarded as one of the most influential monthly reviews of architecture, interior design, and art, and has played a key role in shaping modern architectural and design discourse. Domus was founded in 1928 by the architect Gio Ponti, together with publisher Gianni Mazzocchi — two leading figures in Italian architecture and publishing whose collaboration helped establish Domus as a leading voice in 20th-century design. Issues from the 1970s reflect a period of architectural experimentation and cultural transition. Typical content includes contemporary architectural projects, urban and residential design, theoretical essays, interior concepts, and explorations of new materials and construction methods, alongside contributions related to art and visual culture. Each issue is documented with individual cover photography and interior spread images, providing a clear and transparent visual overview of the condition and content of the magazines. Offered as a cohesive set, these original vintage issues are no longer in print and are highly sought after by collectors, architects, designers, and scholars. Together, they form a valuable reference archive capturing the spirit of late 20th-century European and international design culture.

Bieden op dit kavel is geëindigd

A well-made pair of mid-century swivel office chairs with a sturdy five-star pedestal base, bakelite armrests and subtly blackish-brown melange upholstery, giving the fabric more depth and warmth than a flat brown tone. The seats are height-adjustable and supported by a solid metal column with chrome-finished elements, reflecting the functional and durable design language of post-war office furniture.

In terms of construction, materials and proportions, these chairs are strongly reminiscent of Gispen models from the 1960s—particularly in the use of bakelite armrests, sober upholstery and the technical pedestal base—though no maker’s marks are present, so attribution remains cautious. Both chairs are in good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age, and remain fully functional and comfortable. Dimensions: Height 85 Width 56 Depth 52 Seating height 53 cm.
